About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to athletes and patients, ensuring their health and well-being, and facilitating their recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities- Provide medical coverage at athletic events, practices, and tournaments, ensuring the health and safety of athletes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including review of medical history, performance of specific assessments, and determination of recommendations.
- Develop and implement effective treatment programs, communicating clearly with patients and physicians to ensure understanding and adherence.
- Collaborate with coaches, athletic directors, and physicians to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in athletic training.
- Manage supplies and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- BOC certification and IL AT license or eligible.
- Approximately one to two years' experience in athletic training, with a strong understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive hourly wage of $26-28.
