Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate students in the Psychology department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Psychology and excellent teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach classes in Psychology, including developing syllabi, preparing lesson plans, and conducting classes.
  • Communicate effectively with students and colleagues, using the College's course management system and MS Office Suite.
  • Create and maintain assignments, evaluative measures, and records, including grading student work and maintaining accurate records of student attendance.
  • Engage in other department-related activities, such as attending workshops and meetings, and participating in student learning assessment activities.
  • Support the College's mission, vision, and core values, including exhibiting professionalism and collegial behavior towards all students, colleagues, and the college community.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate-level coursework in Psychology.
  • Excellent teaching skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to work with a diverse group of students.
