Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes and tools to improve product quality and reduce production costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions and technical specifications.
- Conduct on-site visits to suppliers and manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement CAE programs to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
- Develop and maintain reports to track product quality, productivity, and cost metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering).
- At least 1 year of experience in plastics/paint or related field.
- High-level experience with CAE software, including Catia V5 and Hypermesh.
- Ability to travel within North America, including Mexico and Canada, and Japan.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Rapid Prototyping and check fixture design.
- Experience working with suppliers to maintain project schedule, budget, and quality milestones.
