Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Design Engineer to join our team at US Main. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing manufacturing processes and tools to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and tools to improve product quality and reduce production costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions and technical specifications.
  • Conduct on-site visits to suppliers and manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement CAE programs to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track product quality, productivity, and cost metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering).
  • At least 1 year of experience in plastics/paint or related field.
  • High-level experience with CAE software, including Catia V5 and Hypermesh.
  • Ability to travel within North America, including Mexico and Canada, and Japan.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rapid Prototyping and check fixture design.
  • Experience working with suppliers to maintain project schedule, budget, and quality milestones.
