At Evers & Sons Inc., we are seeking a skilled Master Fabricator to join our fabrication team. This role is pivotal in constructing robust infrastructure projects by performing complex welds according to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced welding operations using Flux Core and MIG techniques in a shop environment, following blueprints and specifications.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, understanding the technical aspects such as heat settings, voltage, and amperage necessary for different jobs.
  • Inspect and test welds and structure, ensuring they meet company standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to interpret designs and plan welding activities.
  • Manage materials to ensure proper usage and inventory levels; maintain equipment and handle materials properly to avoid waste or damage.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in structural welding highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural welding, particularly in a fabrication shop setting.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate positioners and perform welds that meet strict specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
