Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced educator and program manager to lead our Teacher Residency program. The successful candidate will be responsible for scaling up the program, facilitating adult learning experiences, establishing strong partnerships with schools and graduate programs, and managing the details of a complex program.
Key Responsibilities- Advisor and Coach for New Educators: Provide guidance and support to Teacher Residents, observing them monthly and offering feedback on their progress.
- Recruitment and Expansion of Residency Program: Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to build a pipeline of candidates, interview Residency candidates, and share Residency information with school leaders.
- Team Member: Facilitate programming, participate in team meetings, and share updates with the GO Tutor Corps team.
- Minimum of master's degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience in education
- Experience working with students from low-income backgrounds
- Previous experience as a classroom teacher and coach for other teachers
- Extensive facilitation experience and understanding of adult learning
- Strong partnership mindset and exceptional project management skills
- Awareness of and comfort with issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Annual salary range: $90,000-$100,000
