**Job Summary:**
As a Pipefitter at Bilfinger, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various industrial settings. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Laying out and fabricating piping systems according to job specifications and building plans.
  • Inspecting worksites to identify potential obstructions and ensure the safe installation of pipes.
  • Selecting and cutting pipes using various tools, including hacksaws and pipe cutters.
  • Assembling and installing pipes and fittings, including threading and soldering.
  • Securing pipes to structures using clamps, brackets, and hangers.
  • Testing piping systems for leaks and maintaining refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.

**Requirements:**
  • Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and rate information using measurable standards.
  • Excellent visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift objects up to 100 pounds.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program.
