Position Overview

As a travel nurse in the ED, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a chance to enhance your nursing skills while experiencing diverse healthcare settings.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid nursing license in North Carolina
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or a comprehensive stroke center
  • At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide real-time feedback
  • Flexibility to adapt to various areas within the ED
  • Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
Additional Information
  • Facility Details: 101 beds with typical patient ratios of 4:1
  • Documentation System: Cerner
  • No floating outside of the ED, but flexibility to float within the department is required
  • Patient Experience: Commitment to respectful behavior and effective communication with patients
