Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $36.42 to $60.33, depending on experience and educational background.
Retention Incentive:
A retention bonus of $10,000 - $15,000 based on experience.
Relocation Support:
Up to $7,500 in relocation assistance available.
Temporary housing provided for 90 days.
Additional Compensation:
Shift differentials, annual pay increases, and paid time off.
Comprehensive Benefits Package:

Available Shifts:
Full-time positions available; night shifts; 36 hours per week; 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Review patient history and collaborate with families to ensure timely completion of assessments.
- Analyze diagnostic and laboratory data, reporting any abnormal results to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Develop individualized care plans, including discharge plans, based on assessment data and input from patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care while providing nursing supervision.
- Promote continuity of care by effectively communicating patient status to other caregivers.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with policy.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to the education of staff, patients, and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing quality indicators.
Qualifications:
- A valid current or temporary RN license in Alaska is required.
- An Associate's degree in nursing is the minimum educational requirement.
- BLS certification is mandatory; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and professional certification.
Experience in an acute care setting within the past year as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics is preferred.
