Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator in the Outpatient Bariatric Medicine department at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will serve as a Patient Navigator for the Weight Management Center, helping to guide and educate patients on options for weight management. This role requires excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups, as well as effective written and verbal communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with program development, promotion/marketing, screenings, and patient recruitment
  • Have a proven ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field
  • Assist and support departmental program evaluation and outcome measurement activities
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
