Job Summary

The Workforce Group is seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservists Cadre Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential logistical support during emergency operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials and supplies at loading docks and loading points.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of logistics operations.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of supplies and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
  • Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a general labor or logistics role preferred.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to deploy on short notice.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  • Willingness to be on emergency standby and deployed at short notice.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
