We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team at Norwichtown Rehab and Care Center in Norwich, CT. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the overall operation and optimal quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and ensure the well-being of residents on the assigned unit.
- Follow established health, sanitary, and infection control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or concerns to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
