Electrical Project Manager for Federal Construction Projects

Job Summary

Bristol Bay Shared Services (BBSS), LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our federal construction projects in Florida. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the on-site construction team and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the on-site construction team
  • Coordinate and oversee all work on site
  • Work with the project manager to develop project schedules and updates
  • Work with subcontractors to schedule manpower and equipment
  • Participate in regular progress meetings with project stakeholders
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Interface daily with crew foremen to ascertain their needs, problems, and job progress
  • Place orders for materials, and responsible for equipment and materials on site
  • Follow the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness
  • Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs
  • Interface with inspection authorities regarding approvals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • A minimum of 4 years construction/electrical supervisory experience
  • Experience with Medium Voltage
  • Knowledge of USACE and other DOD construction requirements
  • Must have experience with Commercial Construction
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Background Screening will take place
  • Ability to influence people to work enthusiastically towards goals and performance targets by effectively providing necessary coaching, mentoring, and feedback
  • Previous Superintendent experience on Federal property
  • Ability to lead and manage change through continuous performance improvement in employee development, quality, safety, and production
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents
  • Familiarity with Procore construction management software is required
