**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Expert Systems Administrator to join our team at Advanced Technology Leaders Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network systems, software, and hardware configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Technical Solutions: Develop expert-level technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide troubleshooting support for unique and difficult hardware matters.
  • Training and Development: Develop training methodology and materials for end-user training on the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Software Installation and Upgrades: Subject Matter Expert for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • System Monitoring and Performance: Expert advisor on the monitoring of systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and the implementation of standard software and hardware solutions.
  • Data Recovery and Security: Advise less-experienced personnel on data/media recoverability following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
  • Audits and Compliance: Provide guidance to less-experienced personnel on hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Strategic Planning: Strategically develop performance and security plans for computer systems that meet the needs of network users.
  • Thought Leadership: Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience. Establish operational plans. Manage strategic projects that are large in scale with major impact. With influence from leadership, develop new standards, policies, and procedures. Problems faced are very difficult and highly complex. Recognized as a thought leader with highly specialized knowledge. Work performed is critical to the organization.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Use highly specialized knowledge in evaluating and assessing existing network systems and planning long-term strategies.

Requirements:

  • Clearance: Active SECRET Clearance
  • Education and Experience: Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience.
