Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is a wholesale cash-and-carry foodservice distributor seeking a skilled Warehouse Stocker to join our team in the Meat Department. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to our valued customers.

Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.

Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.

Performs regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures the quality of our products.

Assists in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.

Ensures that shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the most recent pricing.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.

Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).

Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.

May be required to work in other departments as needed.

Requirements:

Ability to walk/stand on concrete for up to 10 hours/day.

Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.

Frequently pushing/pulling objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.

Frequently lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs.
