Job Summary

Altru Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary department, you will be responsible for preparing the Cath Lab for cardiac procedures, assessing and fulfilling patient needs, and performing hemodynamic and control room duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the Cath Lab for cardiac procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique and equipment setup.
  • Assess and fulfill patient needs, including completing patient catheterization reports and correlating analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests.
  • Perform hemodynamic and control room duties, including stress tests and radiation safety protocols.
  • Correlate analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and report pertinent findings to physicians.
  • Prepare and perform the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures.
  • Practice radiation safety to protect staff members and patients.
Requirements
  • Licensure in RCIS or RCES.
  • Meet requirements for conditional license of North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board.
Work Schedule

36 hours per week, with 13-week schedule.
