Job Summary

Peak Behavioral Health Services is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join its interdisciplinary team in Oklahoma City. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism and other disabilities reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat a wide range of speech and language disorders
  • Create comprehensive treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Diagnose and treat disorders related to feeding and oral motor/swallowing issues
  • Provide family education and training to support the transfer of skills
  • Supervise Speech Therapist assistants as needed
  • Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working with children and families
  • Experience working with augmentative and alternative communication
  • Prior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilities
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Oklahoma State License
  • Training and experience in areas of feeding/oral and motor/swallowing
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
