Job Summary
H.B. Fuller is seeking a skilled Production Operator II to join our team in Mansfield, TX. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our adhesives and sealants.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials and packaging according to process instructions and procedures.
- Operate mixers and verify raw materials to ensure correct weight, type, and lot/batch number.
- Document process figures and results, ensuring traceability and compliance with legal requirements.
- Carry out all operations in compliance with Quality and Operating procedures.
- Ensure initial testing and release of products, with no deviations to specifications.
- Maintain machinery and work areas in a clean and proper condition.
- Responsible for own training documentation and implementation of EHS policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements
- Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma.
- 2+ years' experience as Production Operator I or 3+ years' experience in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of common software programs (MS office).
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations, and quality procedures and instructions.
- Availability to work in shifts.
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes.
- Understanding of basic English.
Physical Environment
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Walk and climb stairs.
- Use hands to remove or lift boxes.
- Stretch and reach with arms extended.
- Stoop and bend.
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
