Job Summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a skilled Production Operator II to join our team in Mansfield, TX. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our adhesives and sealants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare raw materials and packaging according to process instructions and procedures.
  • Operate mixers and verify raw materials to ensure correct weight, type, and lot/batch number.
  • Document process figures and results, ensuring traceability and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Carry out all operations in compliance with Quality and Operating procedures.
  • Ensure initial testing and release of products, with no deviations to specifications.
  • Maintain machinery and work areas in a clean and proper condition.
  • Responsible for own training documentation and implementation of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma.
  • 2+ years' experience as Production Operator I or 3+ years' experience in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of common software programs (MS office).
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations, and quality procedures and instructions.
  • Availability to work in shifts.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes.
  • Understanding of basic English.

Physical Environment

  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk and climb stairs.
  • Use hands to remove or lift boxes.
  • Stretch and reach with arms extended.
  • Stoop and bend.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
