Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team at Deep Well Services. As a Mechanical Drafter, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing equipment and systems within our fabrication shop environment.

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create detailed drawings, plans, and models for fabrication.
• Translate conceptual designs into technical drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including assembly instructions, detailed drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and material specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with the Mechanical Engineer, production team, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
• Review drawings and models to identify potential issues or improvements before fabrication.

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• 1-3 years of verifiable work experience as a Drafter or CAD Technician in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, welding techniques, and machining operations is preferred.
