Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapist (OT) who is dedicated to enhancing the lives of students facing various challenges. As an OT, your responsibilities will include evaluating clients' functional capabilities, creating tailored treatment strategies, and executing therapeutic interventions to support their journey towards independence and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations of clients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and environmental requirements.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to set treatment objectives and plans.
- Design personalized therapeutic programs focused on enhancing clients' functional skills, including daily living activities, fine motor coordination, mobility, and social interaction.
- Apply therapeutic techniques and modalities such as exercise regimens, assistive devices, and sensory integration strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in assessing and treating individuals with a range of conditions and disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
