Position Summary
Emory University Orthopedics & Spine Hospital (EUOSH) has received Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), showcasing our commitment to nursing excellence, teamwork, and outstanding patient care. Our inpatient nursing team actively participates in a Unit Practice Council, emphasizing shared governance in decision-making.
EUOSH specializes in addressing the orthopedic surgical needs of our patients. Our surgical offerings include: Major Joint Replacements (hip, knee, and shoulder) Minimally invasive orthopedic procedures Hip resurfacing techniques Spine surgeries Spinal fusion operations Scoliosis and spinal deformity corrections Artificial disc replacements for the spine
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program. Must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments. Exceptions: Individuals currently employed as LPNs within the EHC system at the time of completing an accredited RN program and obtaining RN licensure will be considered eligible to transition to the Nurse Clinician title while progressing through the Resident program.
