Job Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Senior Research Scientist Clinical Investigator to join our Innovation & Sciences Solutions team focused on the Healthy Aging & Healthy Skin platforms.
- In partnership with Product Development, Sciences, and Marketing teams, you will use your creative problem-solving skills and knowledge of human physiology to develop new solutions that deliver desired health outcomes.
- Working in ambiguity, challenging status quo, and leveraging internal and external expertise you will deliver new approaches and new health and well-being outcomes.
- You will design and lead studies, or outline the study requirements that demonstrate and validate the science behind our solutions.
- Merging science with our business needs, you will translate your research into a solution profile and story.
- You will distill complex scientific and technical concepts into easy-to-understand language and themes to create a positive experience for our Amway Business Owners (ABOs) and consumers.
- You will have broad exposure to a wide variety of global stakeholders that influence the future of our business.
Requirements
- Minimum BS with six years of experience or advanced degree (MS with 3 years experience or PhD with 1 - 2 years industry experience) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology or related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in scientific research, methods, analysis and data interpretation and/or publication.
- Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into consumer appropriate language that offers clarity/understanding on the technology and science for underlying solutions.
Skills to be successful in the role
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- RD (Registered Dietician) or ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) CTI or CRA certification helpful.
- Experience leading clinical studies with patient reported outcomes in an industry setting helpful.
- Experience with Skincare and Nutrition helpful.
