About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ENT Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Texas ENT Specialists. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Summary/Objective:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care services under the supervision of a physician. This includes examining patients, taking medical histories, recording results, and making preliminary diagnoses or deciding on follow-up procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides patient-centered care by examining patients, taking medical histories, and documenting results.
  • Administers diagnostic tests, interprets test results, and performs therapeutic procedures as necessary.
  • Develops and implements patient care plans, instructs patients, and records progress.
  • Prescribes medications as allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations.
  • Assists physicians with emergency treatments and complex procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Physician Assistant Program (PA) or Master's Degree in Nursing (NP).
  • Two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in ENT.
  • State accreditation based on certifying exam.
  • Continued employment requires 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and passing a recertification examination every six years.
