At Hopewell Center, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our residential services team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities- Individualized Support: Develop and implement individualized program plans (IPPs) to meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Assist residents with daily housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organization.
- Behavioral Support: Oversee and implement behavior programs to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Life Skills Training: Train residents in essential life skills, including budgeting, money management, and daily hygiene practices.
- Medication Administration: Supervise and assist with medication administration, ensuring the health and well-being of each resident.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and medications, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Assist with meal preparation and diet training, promoting healthy eating habits and nutrition.
- Adaptive Equipment and Safety: Monitor and maintain adaptive equipment, ensuring the safety and accessibility of each resident.
- Leisure and Exercise Activities: Oversee and participate in leisure and exercise activities, promoting physical and mental well-being.
- Transportation and Emergency Response: Provide transportation to residents and conduct emergency evacuation training, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resident activities, progress, and challenges, reporting to management as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of training methods for developmentally disabled individuals, familiarity with IPPs, and ability to comprehend and implement plans.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, staff, and management.
- Certifications and Training: Completion of necessary training certifications and valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
