Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineered blueprints, building custom equipment using various hand tools, and utilizing GMAW, GMAW-P, and GTAW processes for carbon steel and stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineered blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Build custom equipment using a tape measure, combination squares, and various hand tools
  • Utilize GMAW, GMAW-P, and GTAW processes for carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Define practical uses of welding processes with every project
  • Fabricate per ASME requirements for CODE stamped vessels
  • Develop fixturing and manufacturing processes to increase efficiency
  • Improve surface finishes of stainless steel metals and welds
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in fabrication
  • Knowledge of fabrication equipment typical to the industry (e.g., overhead cranes and forklifts)
  • Familiarity with using equipment (e.g., saw cutting, shearing, and drilling)
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work and ability to solve problems
