Job Summary

The Floor Technician is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining and restoring floors to a high standard. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Operate industrial floor care equipment, including floor strippers, burnishers, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Restore floors to their original condition through stripping, refinishing, and other methods.
  • Work with clients to understand their floor maintenance needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a related role, such as a floor care technician or maintenance worker.
  • Knowledge of floor care equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write to facilitate communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
