We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Medical Oncology team at PEAK Veterinary Referral Center. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our experienced oncology team to provide top-notch care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist with and learn chemotherapy delivery and other treatment modalities to give our patients the highest possible quality of life.
- Provide skilled nursing care, including assisting with medical procedures and administering medications.
- Collaborate with our doctors to develop and implement treatment plans for our patients.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary oncology.
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification.
- Strong foundational understanding of veterinary nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
