EMT or Paramedic

Hire Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated EMT or Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls to provide medical attention and transportation to patients.

• Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain EMT-B, I, or AEMT or Paramedic certification as required by the State and/or NREMT.
• Maintain a current CPR card.
• Maintain current valid Driver's License (must pass MVR).
• Appropriately respond to calls when dispatched.
• Render appropriate medical care, within the scope of practice of an EMT- B, I, or AEMT or Paramedic, under the guidance of established medical protocols and standing order.
• Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and with external customers.

• Must hold a valid State and/or NREMT License at an EMT- B, I, or AEMT or Paramedic level.
• Current CPR card.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a safe driving record.

Hire Health is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including emergency and non-emergency situations, and must be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

You will be required to work in a noisy environment and must be able to communicate effectively with patients, EMS providers, hospital and facility staff. You must also be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

You will be required to bend, kneel, crouch, push, pull, reaching, lifting, squat, twist, carrying and climb stairs to access a patient and or equipment inside cramped spaces such as the back of an ambulance.

You must be able to routinely lift more than 200 lbs. with assistance, from ground level to move or manipulate a patient, on a backboard or load a patient and stretcher into an ambulance.
