About the Role

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, part of Cape Fear Valley Health System, is seeking a skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team. As a leading healthcare provider in southeastern North Carolina, we serve communities throughout the region.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and medical procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
  • Monitor patients' physiological conditions and perform clinical interventions as needed
Requirements
  • M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMC and FLEX certification
  • Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
  • Current licensure as a physician
