Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and input from patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Engage patients and families in the care process, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Illinois.
- Current AHA BLS/CPR certification and other required unit-specific certifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Intermediate computer skills, with the ability to become proficient in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
