Maintenance Craftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Craftsman to join our team at C3 Workforce. This 1st Shift Position is located in Detroit, MI and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance and a proven track record of ensuring optimal operating results. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable about local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plating lines, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Complete emergency, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns to eliminate future occurrences.
• Perform a wide range of operations connected with maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and plating lines.
• Fabricate fixtures and racks (welding experience required).
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency and follow safety protocol.
• Maintain work areas, shop floors, and equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or Trade School/Vocational degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance at a metal finishing facility.
• Certifications in Plumbing, Electricity, or HVAC are welcome.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
