Job Title: Physician Psychiatrist

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a highly skilled Physician Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and diagnostic review services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and diagnostic review services to out-patient clinics
  • Consult with a multidisciplinary team of mental health providers regarding psychiatric aspects of patient care
  • Confer with consumer relatives/caregivers regarding illness and treatment
  • Maintain electronic medical records, including medication lists and e-prescribing
  • Manage and maintain a panel of patients
  • Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times
  • Assure quality of care for all patients at all times and participate in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs
  • Adhere to and comply with state and federal standards of clinical practice
  • Provide phone-triage/consultation in rare emergent situations afterhours
  • May be required to supervise psychiatric mid-level personnel, including RNs, NPs, and Physician Assistants on-site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Psychiatry
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of California
  • Experience in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and diagnostic review services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

  • $350,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
