Special Education/ESE Teacher:

Your commitment to going above and beyond is essential for ensuring our students' success.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will embrace numerous responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Teaching in an inclusive classroom, sharing responsibilities with a general education teacher.
- Providing small group resource support as necessary.
- Delivering alternative or parallel instruction to a group of students and offering one-on-one teaching as required.
- Utilizing multi-sensory teaching strategies and specialized instruction tailored to students' specific disabilities.
- Implementing all necessary modifications and accommodations for classroom activities and assessments.
Additionally, you will:
- Collaborate with the Child Response Team to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance.
- Utilize student IEPs, evaluations, and performance levels to guarantee effective service provision.
- Work with the student support team to conduct annual IEP meetings.
- Employ data-driven approaches to teach towards mastery of academic skills.
- Monitor and track student performance and progress, taking responsibility for continuous improvement in student growth objectives.
- Administer and analyze weekly assessment data to evaluate progress towards grade-level and IEP goals.
- Develop action plans to enhance performance for students not on track to meet their goals.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding progress with all relevant stakeholders.
- Engage in school, departmental, and parent meetings.
- Participate in school events, activities, and programs beyond regular instructional hours.
