We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dietitian to collaborate with our team at All Med Search in Fresno, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Nutritional Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' dietary needs, taking into account their medical history, current health status, and dietary preferences.
  2. Dietary Planning: Develop and implement personalized dietary plans for patients, considering their specific health goals and dietary restrictions.
  3. Education and Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling and education to patients and their families, explaining the importance of proper nutrition and dietary changes.
  4. Monitoring Progress: Regularly monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting dietary plans as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, dietary plans, and progress notes in compliance with relevant regulations.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  7. Geriatric Expertise: Utilize your experience with geriatric populations to address the unique nutritional needs and challenges faced by elderly patients.
  8. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest developments in nutrition science and dietary guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations.
  9. Compliance: Ensure that all dietary recommendations and interventions adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as a dietitian/nutritionist in California.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with geriatric populations is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and electronic health record systems.
