Job Summary

Phoenix House is seeking a skilled Nurse - LPN to provide support to patients and document self-medication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to patients with self-medication

Document medication administration

Perform TB and drug screenings on patients within 72 hours of admission

Monitor and record vital signs

Provide triage and medical services as needed

Schedule and coordinate medical appointments for patients

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse

Current certification in BLS and/or ACLS

At least one year of related experience

Qualified by training, education, and experience in providing nursing care for chemically addicted patients and patients withdrawing from alcohol and/or drugs

Work Environment

This role operates in an indoor medical clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
