Paraprofessional Tutor

The Paraprofessional Tutor will provide direct educational tutoring services to students under the direction of the teacher and/or administrator. This role requires a strong understanding of teaching methods and the ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.

• Assist the teacher in implementing the educational program.
• Work with small groups of students on educational tasks assigned by the teacher.
• Assist with classroom routines and instructional implementation.
• Act as a substitute for teachers when necessary.
• Attend conferences, groups, and meetings as assigned.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness when working with diverse student populations.
• May work one-on-one with students.
• Collect and input daily behavioral data.
• Assist with daily arrival and dismissal procedures.
