We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Neuro Progressive Care Unit setting. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke and neurosurgical patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- 1 year of recent experience in a Neuro Progressive Care Unit setting.
- Recent experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to float to other units as needed.
- Competitive hourly rate of $31.50.
- Weekly tax-free stipends for housing and meals.
- Travel allowance of $500.
