Irrigation Specialist

Job Summary:
As an Irrigation Technician at Monarch Landscape Companies, you will be responsible for performing irrigation work at various job sites. This role requires the ability to work safely, using proper tools and equipment, and adhering to prescribed standards for landscape irrigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform irrigation work, including installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems
• Ensure all work is done safely and efficiently, following company guidelines and regulations
• Read and understand irrigation plans and diagrams
• Create as-built drawings, site activity maps, and work orders
• Repair and replace irrigation components, including pipes, valves, and sprinklers
• Position sprinklers correctly and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair solenoid-operated irrigation control valves
• Install remote harnesses and perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician who is knowledgeable about landscape and maintenance techniques, irrigation wiring, and pipe selection. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuitry and be able to perform minor controller repairs. Additionally, the candidate should be able to safely and properly use power tools and equipment, including drills, jackhammers, trenchers, and tampers.

Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift 50 pounds of weight frequently, and repeatedly bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull materials and equipment to complete job tasks.
