Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including cameras and computers
  • Analyze images to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of recent experience in nuclear medicine
  • A strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
