Hospice Chaplain

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Chaplain to join our team. As a Hospice Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support and care to patients and their families, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

• Provide spiritual support and counseling to patients and families, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
• Develop and implement spiritual care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Visit patients and families in their homes, hospitals, or other care settings, providing emotional and spiritual support.
• Collaborate with community spiritual leaders and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in training and education programs to enhance spiritual care skills and knowledge.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology.
• One unit of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE)-accredited CPE.
• Two years of experience in spiritual care ministry or program, with demonstrated ability to work with patients, families, and community spiritual leaders.
