Overview

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Edmond, OK is seeking a skilled MLS/MLT to join our team on a part-time evening shift. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, serology, blood bank, and limited microbiology.
  • Assist with specimen processing and maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each shift.
  • Collaborate with fellow teammates to ensure a smooth and efficient laboratory operation.
Requirements:
  • AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • ASCP MLS/MLT certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, courteous, and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress.
Physical and Mental Demands:
  • The normal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and work at the bench for long periods of time.
  • Frequent walking and/or standing.
