Overview

The Department of Veteran Affairs is recruiting psychiatric nurse practitioners to support the growth within our Community Based Outpatient Clinics in South Carolina and Georgia.


Salary Information

This role offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual salary range of $115,000 - $155,000 based on experience and location. Regular salary increases are also expected.


Job Description

We are seeking skilled nurse practitioners to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinics. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing patient education on mental health conditions, preventive measures, and prescribed treatments.
  • Assessing and adjusting patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Counseling and treating patients with substance use disorders.
  • Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
  • Initiating referrals and consults to specialty services.
