We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Custodian to join our team at UC San Diego. As a Senior Custodian, you will be responsible for performing semi-skilled and skilled cleaning tasks for various facilities on campus.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cleaning and disinfection tasks in assigned areas, including emptying and cleaning wastebaskets, ashtrays, and other waste receptacles.
- Work with building occupants to answer questions regarding custodial services and special setup requests.
- Effectively collaborate with campus customers and custodial team members to achieve high-quality and efficient work.
- Must be able to start working immediately after employment offer.
- Must be willing to work 40 hours/week, and varied schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Background checks required.
- Ability to travel to various UC San Diego locations or Medical centers as assigned.
As a Senior Custodian at UC San Diego, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $19.47, plus eligibility for full medical benefits, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. You will also have opportunities for skill enhancement and exposure to career opportunities within the university.
