CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing and Payable Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for outstanding claims while providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and review nursing documentation for invoice creation.
- Validate the information in the documents against the billing system information.
- Work closely with the nursing supervisor to resolve any discrepancies in documentation.
- Manually create invoices for payment of nursing services by transferring information from an excel spreadsheet into a database timely and accurately.
- Meet department turnaround times and performance goals to ensure timely payment.
- 1 year of healthcare insurance billing related experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Must live within a 1 hour commute from the office.
- Effective customer service skills and experience that shows ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to utilize analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate with clientele in a professional manner; both verbally and written.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
The typical pay range for this role is $28.45 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
