We're looking for a highly analytical and creative individual who can balance customer needs with business goals, delivering technical solutions that drive business value.

Key responsibilities
  • Work with colleagues to understand customer challenges and develop solutions that improve the online and in-person shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with product design, product management, and systems architecture teams to develop experimental solutions.
  • Market innovative ideas internally and evolve them based on feedback and critique.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our customer experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies (React, Angular).
  • Expertise in Microsoft .NET (C#), JavaScript (ES6/ES7), CSS best practices, and RESTful API services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Electron framework and automation testing (Selenium, Webdriver) is preferred.
  • In-depth experience with API integration.
  • Mentor and develop others.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
Work arrangement

This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA CarMax Technology Innovation Center or the Dallas, TX Technology Hub and have a hybrid work arrangement.
