Job Overview

The Recovery Center of Kentucky is dedicated to providing exceptional support to individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges. We are currently in search of a committed and skilled CDL Bus Operator to enhance our team and contribute to our mission of making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to the start of each shift.
  • Adhere to the scheduled bus route, ensuring all designated stops are made.
  • Safely transport clients, prioritizing their well-being.
  • Promptly report any mechanical issues to management.
  • Comply with all traffic regulations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic bus environment.
Qualifications
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of driving experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • A valid CDL is required.
  • Passenger (P) endorsement is necessary.
  • School bus (S) endorsement is required.
  • Air Brake certification is preferred.
  • Must have fewer than 3 points on your driving record.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • 20/20 vision, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Willingness to undergo random drug testing.
