Join Interstate Waste Services, a leading provider of solid waste and recycling services, as a Class B Roll Off Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating front, side, or rear-loading trucks for the pick-up service of bags or containers filled with waste or recyclable material.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate trucks to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and local traffic laws.
  • Perform pre and post-inspections of trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, navigating through congested communities and confined areas.
  • Develop strong backing maneuvers to successfully perform the job.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
  • 1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years.
  • Great safety record and clean MVR.
  • Experience as a driver or helper for a waste company is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and applicable traffic regulations.
  • Ability to speak and read English to converse with the general public.
Benefits:
  • Hourly pay rate of $30.06.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday hours.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
