Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Associate to join our team at Methodist Hospital Hill Country. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods and protocols.
  • Prepare Environmental Service carts for assigned areas and ensure they are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, and clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas.
  • Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist in cleaning of emergency spills and apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory.
