We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Emergency Care Provider to join our team as a PRN Experiential Education Instructor. As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Skills Instruction
- Setup skills stations, proctor, and cleanup for initial courses and refreshers.
- Maintain Latest Skills Knowledge
- Prepare prior to arrival at work to have the most accurate information.
- Maintain Lesson Plans
- Ensure current medical accuracy of all lesson plans.
- Maintain communication with the Associate Dean of Pre-Hospital Education for availability.
- Be available on short notice to provide course instruction.
- Provide quality instruction to students on a variety of topics.
- Assist with the collection and filing of all post-instruction feedback.
- Occasional travel, as available.
- At least 1+ year of pre-hospital experience.
- Graduate of Best Practice Medicine (BPM) program.
- 5+ years of experience in a busy service.
- Experience providing instruction at the collegiate level or in an adult learning environment.
- Management experience in an education environment.

This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, and bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing.
- Frequently: Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to speak clearly in small group settings.
- Constantly: Ability to follow simple and complex written and verbal instructions. Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Occasionally: Fatigue, intense tasks.
- Frequently: Repetitive tasks, high pressure.
This position requires the use of various equipment, including computers, cell phones, presentation equipment, and other electronic devices.
- Constantly: Computer, cell phone, presentation equipment, and other electronic devices.
- Frequently: Operate NMC, and other vehicles.
