Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced In-Home ABA Therapist to join our team at One Step Forward in Jersey City, NJ. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation based on experience, estimated at $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and background. Our flexible scheduling allows for a balance between work and personal life, making this an ideal choice for those who value their time outside of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to each child's unique needs.
  • Supervise and train ABA Therapists (RBTs) to ensure they have the necessary skills to implement therapy goals effectively.
  • Monitor client progress, update goals, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous growth and development.
  • Provide caregiver training to support consistency and success in implementing therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification is mandatory.
  • 1+ year of experience in in-home ABA services is preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for regular travel to clients' homes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
