Job Description

As an Imaging Specialist with MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, you will be responsible for operating advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful contribution to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on equipment, monitor patient safety, and make adjustments as required.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media (if applicable).
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them correctly.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 18 months' experience working as a CT Technologist in a healthcare setting.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Licensure to practice in most states.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
